Multiplayer Battle Royale in a stylized bird world
Started as a graduation project and evolved into a full playable prototype: online sessions, account system, in-game store integration.
The game was created during the wave of Fortnite's popularity. The core idea was a bird-scale perspective where the player is a bird and the surrounding objects feel proportionally huge.
Gameplay is very similar to other battle royales in terms of mechanics, but it has its own unique twist. If you play online, each player controls a stork, and each player can fly wherever they want. During the drop, the stork drops an egg, and once it breaks, you start your game on the map.
After the first release in 2020, it became clear that staying competitive required shipping substantial content every few months. Because of that, most effort went into sourcing, adapting, and optimizing new content.
A small island was added to the center of the map.
A realistic marketplace weather system with volumetric clouds was integrated, which was a newer cloud-rendering approach at the time. In the graphics settings, players can choose different weather conditions, including a thunderstorm.
Several ships were also added, both floating and flying.
At least two major islands were planned: a volcanic island with a China-inspired theme, and a jungle island.
The jungle biome and the volcanic island were never fully set up and mostly contain scattered test objects used to check how assets looked in-game. Many other assets were planned to be integrated into the game over time.
Development stopped on February 24, 2022, when I lost creative motivation.
In early 2026, I assembled and published the latest builds as an archive, preserving the project exactly as it stood at that time.
